Current position

The current MetaTech website does not intentionally use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. It does not activate analytics cookies and does not use browser local storage or session storage for visitor tracking.

The application itself does not set cookies. Essential hosting or security infrastructure may use strictly necessary technologies in the final production configuration to support security, routing or basic operation. These are not intended for advertising.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small pieces of data placed by a website in a browser. Similar technologies can support security, session handling, routing, preferences or measurement. This policy covers cookies and browser-storage technologies used by the public website.

Strictly necessary technologies

If the selected hosting, DNS, CDN or security provider uses strictly necessary technologies in production, they are expected to support operation, security or routing. The exact provider, technology and duration must be verified before launch and this policy updated if needed.

No non-essential cookie banner at present

Because the current application does not enable non-essential analytics or marketing technologies, it does not present a cookie-consent banner. A banner that offers no real choice would not improve privacy.

Future analytics or marketing tools

MetaTech will update this policy before introducing non-essential analytics or marketing technologies. Such tools must not be enabled before an affirmative consent mechanism is in place. Refusing consent must be as easy as accepting it, non-essential tools must remain blocked until consent, preferences must be changeable later, and analytics events must not include lead-form content or contact information.
